I. GENERAL

  1. Event Category:
    • The event category is a 5-kilometer running event (fun run).
    • The sequence of events for ASITA Run 2024. Participants are those who have registered and received registration confirmation (Participants).
  2. Participants are required to comply with and execute every term and condition of ASITA RUN 2024 established by the organizer, including those conveyed and/or announced separately through any media, after Participants have been confirmed for participation.
  3. Age Limit for Participation in the Event:
    • Fun Run participants must be a minimum of 10 years old and a maximum of 75 years old (on the event day).
    • The minimum age requirement to participate as a participant in the Event is 10 (ten) years old on the Event Day. Participants who, at the time of the event date, are under 17 (seventeen) years old, are required to submit a Parental Consent Letter during the event package collection. The Parental Consent Letter format can be downloaded here.
    • Children under the age of 10 (ten) are not considered Participants. Therefore, they will not be entitled to runner's rights such as bib numbers and must be accompanied by a parent.
    • Children under the age of 10 (ten) can accompany their parents (who are Participants) and are allowed to use strollers, baby carriers, or special baby strollers for running.
  4. The organizer will not be liable for any costs, expenses, or losses in any form, caused by the following:
    • Pre-existing illnesses;
    • Accidents during participation in ASITA RUN 2024.
    • Loss and/or damage of personal property during participation in ASITA RUN 2024.
    • Illness due to Covid-19 virus infection during participation in ASITA RUN 2024.
  5. Participants are advised to consult a doctor if they are unsure about their health condition before participating in the race.
  6. Although an active lifestyle during pregnancy is recommended, the committee requires pregnant women to report their pregnancy condition and submit a doctor's letter as well as sign a declaration letter before participating in the race or at the latest 1 (one) week before the race via email. The race committee is not responsible for complications or health issues that may arise from racing during pregnancy and may disqualify participants from the race for health reasons.

  7. Participants must not obstruct/disrupt the race by failing to follow instructions from the organizers and/or officials.

  8. Participants explicitly and exclusively grant the organizer and its assignees the irrevocable right to use the name, likeness, biography, whether factual or otherwise, in connection with the production, distribution, and publication of images, photos, and other intellectual property rights related to ASITA RUN 2024, worldwide, on any and all devices, media, or publications.

  9. Copyright and other intellectual property rights (if any) of images, photos, articles, timing records, and location information covering ASITA RUN 2024, and the rights to use them for TV broadcasts, newspapers, magazines, the internet, and other media or publications are owned by the organizer. Such usage includes, but is not limited to, the name and other personal information such as age and address (country, province, and city) of the Participant.
     

II. ORGANIZATION & PARTICIPATION

  1. Participants are those who have completed registration in accordance with the terms and conditions established by the organizer. Transactions that have been successfully completed cannot be canceled, and the race registration fee cannot be refunded except in cases of force majeure.

  2. Participants must adhere to the health protocols set by the organizer during the ASITA RUN 2024 event series, including, but not limited to, physical distancing, wearing masks, washing hands with soap, and using hand sanitizer. Participants who do not comply with or violate the health protocols established by the organizer, at the sole discretion of the organizer, will have their participation suspended and will not be allowed to participate in ASITA RUN 2024.
     

III. EVENT ACTIVITIES

  1. Fun Run participants will take part in a 5-kilometer running event with the start point in the Renon area.
  2. The Cut-off time for the Fun Run is 1 hour 30 minutes from the start time.
  3. Each Participant will be provided with a bib number, which is a specific personal identification for the Participant and may not be exchanged, transferred, or moved in any way. In the event that a participant exchanges, transfers, or moves their bib number, the Participant will be subject to disqualification from participating in ASITA RUN 2024.

  4. The bib number must be worn on the front of the Participant's body and be clearly visible during the fun run event, from the moment the Participant crosses the start line until the Participant crosses the finish line.
  5. Participants of ASITA Run 2024 who finish below the running time limit are entitled to receive a finisher  medal.

  6. Participants must not wear clothing or equipment that may pose a danger, cause harm, or endanger themselves, other Participants, and/or others. Participants must not run with their entire face covered, which would prevent Participants from seeing the running course and other Participants on the running course clearly.
  7. Participants must not wear clothing for the purpose of making political, religious, advertising, or any other form of statement or propaganda. Participants intending to campaign in any form and for any purpose must inform the organizer beforehand, prior to the race day, to obtain approval from the organizer. In the event that campaigning is not notified beforehand on the race day or does not receive approval from the organizer, but the Participant still carries out the campaign, the organizer has the right to stop the campaign, and the Participant will be subject to disqualification from participating in ASITA RUN 2024.
     

IV. MISCELLANEOUS

  1. Other matters related to the terms and conditions of participation in ASITA RUN 2024 may be changed and added at any time by the organizer. Such changes and/or additions will be communicated to Participants by the organizer.
  2. In the event of circumstances beyond human control (force majeure), including but not limited to conditions of war (whether declared or not), labor strikes, fires, accidents, violence, social unrest, mass riots, sabotage, outbreaks, pandemics, restrictions on community activities, natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods, changes in regulations and/or government policies, embargoes, legal reasons, or other circumstances beyond the organizer's control that render this event unable to be conducted, Participants understand that they cannot make claims against the organizer for compensation for any losses incurred as a result of such force majeure events and/or the non-implementation of ASITA RUN 2024.
  1. When will ASITA Run 2024 take place?
    ASITA Run 2024 will be held on Sunday, April 21, 2024.
     
  2. Where will the event take place?
    The event will be held in Renon, Denpasar.
     
  3. What time will the event start?
    The fun run 5K event will start at 06:00 WITA.
     
  4. What categories will be competing?
    There are no race categories.
                                  
  5. How can I register for ASITA Run 2024?
    Registration can be done at www.asitabali.org
     
  6. What is the registration fee for ASITA Run 2024?
    The registration fees are as follows:
    1. Early Bird: Rp 199,000 per participant. (March 6th - March 31st)
    2. Normal Price: Rp 250,000 per participant. (April 1st - April 10th)
     
  7. What are the requirements for participating in ASITA Run 2024?
    Participation is open to citizens of any country.
     
  8. What are the age requirements for participants who want to participate in ASITA Run 2024?
    Participants must be at least 10 years old and maximum 75 years old.
     
  9. Can children under 10 years old participate in ASITA Run 2024?
    Children under the age of 10 (ten) can accompany their parents (who are Participants) and are allowed to use strollers, baby carriers, or special baby strollers for running.
     
  10. Will children under 10 years old also receive a fun run package if they participate with their parents?
    Children under the age of 10 (ten) are not considered Participants. Therefore, they will not be entitled to runner's rights such as bib numbers and must be accompanied by a parent.

  12. How will I know that my registration has been accepted?
    Once registration and payment have been successfully completed, a confirmation of participation in the form of an email will be sent to the registered email address. Make sure that the entered email address is correct.
     
  13. If I am already registered, can I decide to withdraw from ASITA Run 2024?
    Yes. Participants who are already registered can withdraw from the race. If a participant withdraws, the registration fee that has been paid is non-refundable, but the participant still has the right to the event package, which can be collected according to the specified schedule.
     
  14. What is the policy for withdrawing from ASITA Run 2024?
    Participants who are absent or withdraw from participating on the race day for any reason will not receive a refund of the participation fee. The registered event slots also cannot be transferred to another person.
     
  15. Can I make changes to my registration data after registering as a participant?
    Yes. Changes to data can be made while registration is still open. To change data, send an email to [email protected] - containing the data to be changed. In the event of data changes, the Committee reserves the right to validate the changes with the participant to ensure the authenticity of the data.
    The registration data that can be changed does not include the Participant's Name and the race jersey size.
     
  16. What if the confirmation email of participation is accidentally deleted?
    Please send an email to [email protected] We will resend the confirmation email of  participation to the participant.
     
  17. What payment methods are used to register for ASITA RUN 2024?
    Payment methods for participating in ASITA RUN 2024 can be made using credit cards, bank transfers, and Go Pay.
     
  18. Where and when can I collect my fun run package?
    All participants must collect their fun run packages during the scheduled Fun Run Package Collection on April 19-20, 2024. Detailed information about the fun run package collection will be provided later.
     
  19. What documents do I need to bring when collecting the Race Pack?
    1. Original identification document such as ID Card/Driver's License/Student ID/Passport/KITAS
    2. Confirmation of participation in printed or digital form
    3. PARENTAL CONSENT LETTER for participants under 17 years old.
     
  20. Is it mandatory to collect the fun run package?
    Yes. The event package includes the bib number (Bib).
    All fun run necessities must be worn during the event.
     
  21. Can I have someone else collect my fun run package on my behalf?
    Event package collection can be delegated under the condition of presenting a photocopy of the registration confirmation, a photocopy of the participant's identification card, and a letter of authorization from the participant. The authorization letter format can be downloaded here. Representatives for fun run package collection are only allowed to collect a maximum of 3 (three) packages in 1 (one) queue.
     
  22. Can I collect the fun run package on the day of the event?
    No.
     
  23. Will there be a storage area provided at the event venue?
    This information will be updated later.
     
  24. What is the fun run route like?
    The fun run route will use the roads in Renon, Denpasar. Further details about the fun run route will be provided on the official ASITA BALI website along with the access link www.asitabali.org.
     
  25. What is the maximum time to complete the fun run?
    The race cut-off time is 1 hour 30 minutes for 5K. Participants who have not completed the race within the race cut-off time will be evacuated using the vehicles provided by the committee.
     
  26. What will I receive when I have completed the fun run?
    Participants who cross the Finish line within the time limit set by the Committee are entitled to receive a finisher medal. Participants who do not complete the fun run and participants who complete the fun run above the cut-off time are not entitled to receive a Finisher Medal.
     
  27. What drinks will be available during the event?
    Isotonic drinks and mineral water will be provided at the hydration points at approximately 2.5km to 3km intervals.
     
  28. Can I run with my pets along the route?
    No. Pets are not allowed in the running area, start/finish area, and fun run route.
     
  29. Are participants allowed to use bicycles, roller skates, scooters, or baby strollers while running on the fun run route?
    No.
     
  30. How many participants are expected to attend ASITA RUN 2024?
    It is estimated that around 1000 runners will participate in ASITA RUN 2024.
     
  31. Will there be road closures?
    Yes, there will be road closures along some fun run routes supported by the local Police and  Transportation Department.
     
  32. Will there be a parking area at the event venue?
    The committee will provide parking areas for participants. Parking on the main road along   
    the fun run route is not allowed.
